BURCON TO PRESENT AT INVESTOR CONFERENCE

Vancouver, British Columbia, April 8, 2009 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (“Burcon”) (TSX-V: BU) will present at the Nutrition Capital Network investor conference on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Grand Hyatt New York in New York City.  Burcon’s president and chief operating officer, Mr. Johann Tergesen, will present.
