December 5, 2007 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX-V: BU) announces today the resignation of First Standard Capital Corporation (“First Standard”). First Standard was engaged in August 2005 under an Investor Relations Service Agreement (the “Agreement”) to assist Burcon with its investor relations activities. Mr. Maurice Boucher was primarily responsible for providing the investor relations services under the Agreement. The initial term of the Agreement between Burcon and First Standard was for 12 months but extendable for successive 12 months unless either party gave written notice to the other party to renegotiate or terminate the Agreement no less than 30 days prior to each renewal term. The Agreement was also terminable upon 30 days notice by either party. Due to personal commitments of Mr. Boucher, First Standard decided, on December 3, 2007, to provide Burcon with notice of termination of the Agreement. Burcon has accepted First Standard’s resignation, which will take effect immediately.

September 14, 2007 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX-V: BU) announced today that it has on September 13, 2007 issued 9,092 common shares to its nonmanagement directors. The shares issued have a four month hold period expiring January 13, 2008.

September 6, 2007 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX-V: BU) announced today that, similar to previous years, it will pay each nonmanagement director an annual retainer of $7,500 for a total of $30,000. The annual retainer forms part of the compensation program for non-management directors as approved by Burcon’s shareholders at the 2004 annual general meeting. Each nonmanagement director will also receive $750 in cash for attendance at committee or board meetings during the year. Burcon proposes to pay the annual retainer in common shares, subject to regulatory approval. The common shares will be issued at $3.30 per share, the closing price of Burcon’s common shares on September 5, 2007. Upon receipt of regulatory approval for the issuance, each of the four non-management directors will receive 2,273 common shares of Burcon.

August 2, 2007 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSXV:BU) announces today the resignation of Mr. Roderick Adams of London, United Kingdom. Mr. Adams was engaged in October 2006 to assist Burcon with its existing investor relations program in Europe. The initial term of the investor relations agreement (the “Agreement”) between Burcon and Mr. Adams was for 8 months but extendable for another 12 months unless either party gave written notice to the other party to renegotiate or terminate the Agreement no less than 30 days prior to the renewal term. The Agreement was also terminable upon 30 days notice by either party. Due to his other professional commitments, Mr. Adams decided, on July 3, 2007, to provide Burcon with notice of termination of the Agreement. Over the last 10 months, Mr. Adams has assisted Burcon with its investor relations activities and communication strategies in Europe.

May 23, 2007 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSXV: BU) announces today that it has been granted two U.S. patents for the novel uses of Burcon’s Supertein™ as a functional component in food compositions. The newly granted patents - United States Patent Numbers 7,211,286 and 7,211,288: “Canola Protein Isolate Functionality III” - cover important functional characteristics for the use of Burcon’s Supertein™ in food compositions generally and a canola protein isolate fortified beverage formulated from Supertein™.

April 5, 2007 – Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSXV: BU) announced today that Dr. James Daun - special advisor to Burcon - received the Eminent Scientist award for exceptional contributions to canola/rapeseed improvement at the 12th International Rapeseed Congress in Wuhan, China on March 27, 2007. Dr. Daun is the 7th person and the first non-geneticist to win the award since the first award was made to Dr. Baldur Stefansson in 1987.
